Shannon Flynn, LMSW

Raised in Chicago, Shannon made her way to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University for undergrad. During that time, she first crossed paths with Daystar when she worked as the development intern and was inspired to pursue her masters in social work at the University of Tennessee. As a highly creative and imaginative person, she enjoys incorporating play therapy and art therapy into her sessions and can often be found whipping up new therapeutic activities with the help of the supplies in Daystar’s art room. Shannon helps girls (little & big!) discover who God uniquely created them to be as she encourages their growth in self-awareness, confidence, and kindness.
