Our Enneagram Test

One

1. I often value productivity over relationships.

2. I’m idealistic --I consciously and unconsciously set high goals for myself and others.

3. Others see me as confident, but I’m very critical of myself on the inside.

4. When I relax I feel guilty, and I can only relax after all the work is done. 

5. I put a high value on integrity and only really trust other people who I believe are honest and trustworthy. 

6. I try really hard and am hard on myself. 

7. I expect others to try hard, too and get frustrated when it seems like I’m trying harder than they are.

8. I can forgive easily when people own up to their mistakes. When they don’t...not so much.

8. When somebody gives me something, I feel like I need to give back. 

9. I get starstruck by people who seem to have it all together.

10. A lot of people call on me for help, and it makes me feel like a million bucks. 

11. In a group of people, I’m so aware of others’ feelings that I can’t figure out my own.

12.I don’t want anyone to know how desperately I need other people.

13. When I don’t feel as close to people as I want to, I manipulate them to get what I want.

14. I often spam-text my friends with compliments and reminders of how special they are to me. 

15. People have said I am sensitive and emotional. I hate this, but it’s true. 

16. People are drawn to my excitement and positive view of life.

17. I try to avoid conflict with others, because I want everyone to like me, but I tend to gossip when they’re not around. 

18. Sometimes I feel like no one really knows me.

19. I feel like I can read people’s minds and try to meet their every need. 

20. I get a big head from trying to save others.

  6. When I’m stressed, I become irrational and skeptical of others. I assume that everyone is against me and lash out.

  7. Sometimes it’s hard for me to trust the people in charge, so I push their buttons to test them out.

  8. Making a commitment means I could miss out on a better deal, so I get flakey. When I pick the better deal, it makes others feel less important.

  10. Why do things have to end? Endings are the worst.

  11. I always want to have plans because life is more fun when you have things to look forward to. 

  12. I am always on the move and have enough energy to be so.

  14. I like people who are energetic and down for an adventure, basically I want my friends to be just like me. 

  15. Sadness makes me uncomfortable, so I gloss over the painful things in my life and other people’s lives, so they don’t bring me down.

  16. I am like a kid in a candy store, I want to try anything and everything in life. 

  17. I hate when people's needs conflict with my own plans. Don't depend on me when I have an adventure to get to. 

  18. I never feel like I have enough, so I impulsively binge on things that feel good. 

  19. I love to be at center stage with everyone laughing and cheering me on, and can be unaware of others.

  20. People see me as confident even when I feel like I could fall apart at any moment, I love that. 

Eight

  1. I am not afraid of confrontation. Sometimes I like it. 

  2. I can be blunt and sometimes bulldoze others. I move on quickly, but my words leave them hurting.

  3. I worry that my vulnerability will make me look weak, and I’ll regret opening up. 

  4. Being independent is very important to me. I trust myself more than others, and can take over and try to be the boss.

  5. Sometimes I am so oppositional that I become intimidating and scare people away.

  6. If I commit to something, I’m all in and want to make it count.

  7. Honesty is essential in all of my relationships. 

  8. When I walk into a room I can usually tell who is in charge. 

  9. I enjoy a friendly argument with people I trust. It energizes me.

  7. I usually choose to do things in a way that feels easy and comfortable to me. Sometimes that means I give up on things that require some effort.

  8. When I’m angry, I get quiet, stubborn, and passive-aggressive.

  9. It is hard for me to start projects, but once I get going I can keep going.  

  10. I can be indecisive. I have no problem with doing what others want to do.
